Delete your Shobury account
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time, from this page or by writing to us. It's the same account on the web and in the Android app, so it's deleted on both. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email, name, nickname and sign-in method.
- Your whole library: games, statuses, favorites, ratings, reviews and collections.
- Your public profile and everything you share with friends.
- Your friendships and friend requests: you disappear from your friends' lists.
- The feedback messages you sent us from Shobury.
- Your visibility settings and the devices registered for notifications.
What is kept
Usage metrics (pages visited and actions within Shobury) may be kept, linked to an internal identifier that no longer belongs to any account. They don't include your email, name or nickname, so they can no longer identify you.
How long it takes
From this page, deletion is immediate and permanent: there's no grace period and the account can't be recovered. If you ask by email, we do it within 30 days and let you know when it's done.

If you can't sign in, write to shobury.app@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject “Delete my account”. That's how we confirm the account is yours.
